Weens Regular Nail Colors; Swatches & Reviews!

Good day hunnies!!! My blog post for today will be more about Weens nail polishes. About a month ago i was given the opportunity to swatch for Weens. They sent me a huge box filled with lots of nail polishes with a few nail care product(at least all of their nail products) :D. I think the box contains around 150 pieces of nail polishes. I was filled with excitement and happiness! Makes me thinks that Mr Michael Ang was my fairy Godfather!
First swatches are Weens regular nail polishes. They are mostly Creme finish nail polish. A creme finish is one of the most popular finishes we know. This is just a plain color without any shimmer, glitter, etc. added to it. It has a glossy and smooth finsh. They can be sheer or opaque. This regular nail polishes are mostly sheer. These Weens polishes are also good for watermarbling technique.

*All these following photos were taken indoors under a two light bulbs.

White to Black Hues: (from top L to R, bottom L to R) White satin, Snowcone, African Plum, Black Jelly, Black Velvet.

Application:

Application was pretty easy. In these swatches I used three thin quick coats to ensure there's no bald spots. no top coat was applied but i applied QT mattely yours matte top coat by Weens on the ring finger nail. Drying time was okay. I didn't experience some bubbling effect on this product. this product has a decent staying power too, i remember wearing it for at least 6 days without chipping. I love all the regular colors I just wish there'd be more bright hues. The brushes are thin, round and shorter than most. The bristles are flexible.

Rainbow Watermarble

Hey you guys, Kleigheart here!!
A nail art milestone for me! While the rest of the nailworld are doing all sorts of watermarbling acrobatics... I got left on the bench sitting, as a spectator, both in awe and envy 'coz I've been failing even on the basics.
With persistence, I finally made it!! (Well kinda... Here, i didn't drag the polish to do the design)
With the help of Weens polishes, which by the way are the only local polishes that surprisingly work so well with watermarbling technique (for me).

I started with a room temperature distilled water placed in a small disposable cup. I used Weens nail polishes (white satin[as base], colorless, tea rose, melon, sweet surprise, green tea, aquarius & envy).

First, I applied El Corazon Kaleidoscope Cuticle Defender. Then on a cup filled with room temp. water I begin to dropped in a blob of colorless, then dropped in a blob of tea rose right in the center, then the next color. Until I was happy with what it looked. Dip your nail into it slowly at an angel on the top of the design you like the most. Use a q-tip to clean the leftover polishes on the surface of the water, then slowly remove your nail/finger from the water. Peel off the latex barrier and then clean up all the remaining mess using a clean-up brush & Weens scented Acetone.
Topped with Weens nail polish COLORLESS.
(A macro shot)
I added some designs over the watermarbled base using acrylic paint. (topped with weens nail polish COLORLESS),
(topped with QT MATTELY YOURS matte topcoat by Weens nail polish).
A close-up look for my final design.
